Why We Built This Site
Kentucky gives the public broad access to many records, but Gallatin County records are not kept in one office. The Circuit Court Clerk handles Circuit, Family, District, and Business Court case files at the courthouse. The Gallatin County Clerk handles marriage licenses, land records, recordings, open-records forms, and eCCLIX indexing. Sheriff, jail, offender, and warrant questions may require separate county, state, or federal sources. This site brings those access paths into a county-specific reference.

This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Kentucky court, clerk's office, sheriff's office, county agency, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:
- We cannot file paperwork or send records requests on your behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of any court document or vital record
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific Gallatin County case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, hour, or address listed here is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal.
